Ok let's see - we have an image hosted on a profile that is 1 day old and asks you to visit a website with a strange url with a promise of a financial reward on an another website. How do you even imagine that would work? And now, of course, people start crying that their computers got infected with malware. Which is great - every genius who fell for this obvious phishing scam deserved it. I hope your shitty computer burns and you along with it.

Opinions are a Dangerous thing: Art StylesThis isn't about narking on anyone no, infact this is just my own muses really! You could say this is a journal for ENCOURAGEMENT! *SHINES*
I find sticking to one style restrictive if you are a beginning/moderate artist! (even professionals I might say! though I can't speak for everyone)
Having a distinctive look on how your art is done and produced is understandable and its a desire to appear unique to the point some one can just SEE your work and instantly think 'Oh! that's Ten-days!' or something along the line. However, when you are trying to find who you are and what kind of art you are to produce, I recommend trying, well, a lot of different things! Different styles, mixing styles, different colouring techinque, brushes, tools, shading. Don't feel dependant on what you are already doing and don't feel pressured by people just for trying new things!
Push out of your comfort zone. Can't draw hands? don't avoid it! draw the heck out of them! (how else are you going to learn?)

Nintendo STEALS Money!Since this has been going around lately, I should probably give my two cents. Basically what it amounts to is that Nintendo has filed Content ID info of their games with YouTube. What this means is that if you upload gameplay video of a Nintendo game, YouTube will automatically monetize that video, put ads on it, a link to where to buy the game, and take the money generated from that video and give it directly to Nintendo. People who do "let's play" videos are, naturally, pissed off because they want to be earning money off their videos, so they're calling Nintendo "thieves" for doing this.
I can see both sides to the story. I can see Nintendo as a corporation wanting to exercise control over their properties. On the other hand, "let's play" videos can often help new gamers find games they otherwise wouldn't have tried.
But here's the thing: Nintendo isn't the first company do this. Both Microsoft and Ubisoft do it already. YouTube has also had a long history of having music videos and

Well this is Awkward....

I was meaning to switch over to this new account, but it wasn't really supposed to be like this. You see, I had noticed I had some silly old account named HappyHappyKillJoy42 that I had never used. So, being the good little internet person I am, I wanted to deactivate it in case someone else wanted to use that obnoxious screenname.

Turns out, I deactivated Otaku42 as well.

This means that all of my galleries are gone. Every single piece I've created over the last 2 years, gone. All of the followers, gone. I am not happy, to say the least.

Nevertheless, I'm gonna be doing my best to make this account even better than Otaku42. I'll still be posting pictures. I'll try and repost whatever old pieces I can find on my hard drive- thankfully everything from DeviantDead is still intact, as are the pages from my new comic. Hopefully more will be up soon, and this page won't be so gloomy looking. Believe me, I didn't want the transition to be like this, but hopefully it'll be worth it in the end.

It would be nice if DA staff could reactivate Otaku for you, at least just for a little bit so that you could inform all of your watchers and such.

I'd suggest sending a help desk ticket to the administration. Just because your work has been deleted from the public eye doesn't necessarily mean it's gone from the servers. Account deactivation is new to me though, so I'm not ENTIRELY sure if they can reactivate it or not- but it's definitely worth a shot!
