Ok let's see - we have an image hosted on a profile that is 1 day old and asks you to visit a website with a strange url with a promise of a financial reward on an another website. How do you even imagine that would work? And now, of course, people start crying that their computers got infected with malware. Which is great - every genius who fell for this obvious phishing scam deserved it. I hope your shitty computer burns and you along with it.

Opinions are a Dangerous thing: Art StylesThis isn't about narking on anyone no, infact this is just my own muses really! You could say this is a journal for ENCOURAGEMENT! *SHINES*
I find sticking to one style restrictive if you are a beginning/moderate artist! (even professionals I might say! though I can't speak for everyone)
Having a distinctive look on how your art is done and produced is understandable and its a desire to appear unique to the point some one can just SEE your work and instantly think 'Oh! that's Ten-days!' or something along the line. However, when you are trying to find who you are and what kind of art you are to produce, I recommend trying, well, a lot of different things! Different styles, mixing styles, different colouring techinque, brushes, tools, shading. Don't feel dependant on what you are already doing and don't feel pressured by people just for trying new things!
Push out of your comfort zone. Can't draw hands? don't avoid it! draw the heck out of them! (how else are you going to learn?)

What I personally find the hardest to draw is feet and hands. I found that with a lot of practice and a lot of frustrating mistakes my feet and hands actually look at the very least almost the way i want them to be.
Now my favorite Style of drawing is Anime or sometimes semi-realism, and i find that by doing studies of the more traditional style realism actually helps improve my anime pictures greatly. For instance i would practice drawing my hands and feet in different positions holding different things and from different angles. I also find it extremely helpful while i'm drawing and i'm having a particularly hard time drawing a hand or a foot in a certain position i will stop for a

It's been a while. April Fool's was pretty fun, thanks to everyone who gave me Llama Badges and tolerated my nonsensical babble journal.

So I've been a little quiet the past week or so, and it's mostly due to the fact that my classes decided to throw a ton of work at me all at once. Unfortunately, I have to keep school as my number one priority, so it might be a little while before I post any new stuff. For those who have been reading Jukebox Heroes, it will be back very shortly- pinky-promise. I hope you guys like it, I'm having a lot of fun drawing it.

I've got a couple other fanart pieces planned- a whole checklist, believe it or not. I was never big on fanart as a kid; I sometimes doodled my fave characters, but I always liked trying to come up with my own stuff more. Now, however, I find it really fun to try and give my own spin on someone else's characters- I find it a good exercise to break out of my own design mold. Hopefully I can get around to those soon.

Oh, and I just saw Kick-Ass with some friends last night. Short review: It's violent, it's funny, it's awesome. People die in ludicrously bloody ways while a badass twelve-year-old girl cusses up a storm. Great solid fun.
