So... I've kinda been on a Sesame Street/Muppets binge lately. I recently read Street Gang, a novel on the history of Sesame Street, which inspired my current desire to draw lots and lots of Cookie Monster and Count Von Count. I forgot just how much I loved all of these characters as a little kid. They're surprisingly fun to draw, too- I feel like one of my new dream jobs would be to draw comics for Sesame Street. The Muppets all have great fun designs, all in all. Speaking of Muppets, the hype has begun mounting for the new Muppets movie and I am SO EXCITED. Like you have no idea.

Now if you'll excuse me, I'm gonna go sing "Rubber Duckie" in the shower.

Hahaha, I love Elmo playing with his toy plane while standing on top of Oscar's can like that. And aren't those 'Muppet Show'-style Muppet penguins that the Count is counting?

Thank you! C: Technically speaking, the Penguins show up everywhere- Feist actually had a segment a couple years back that used them for counting. Far as I can tell, they look more or less the same.

Well for starters, the Sesame penguins usually have eyelids and smaller beaks.
